I always used "conventional" holsters, but lately I have jumped on the "hybrid" bandwagon. I ordered a DeSantis Intruder. When this came I thought to myself "what am I going to do with this weightlifting belt?" The thing was HUGE! Little did I know what HUGE meant...

This Intruder is without question THE most comfortable IWB holster I have ever worn. It makes the bigger guns feel just like the Shield! The "hugeness" distributes the weight over a larger area...I have yet to have to adjust this thing through my shirt, like I have in the past with "conventional" IWB holsters...

If you haven't already, try one of these things - many companies make their own version of it, but fact is larger is better in this case - and again - it makes the big guns feel like small ones...

I can't wear a normal IWB holster since I've had my hips replaced. The tuckable one like the Intruder are no problem. I just wear them untucked with a cover garment. Real comfortable.

I have an intruder for my glock and my sig. I love them and they are pretty reasonable.

To Dullh & others I would suggest you take a look at the " sticky "

holster out of Naples Florida. I have their holsters & mag holder and am very happy with them. Regards,
Bob

I like hybrid holsters for most of sizes I typically carry, compact double stack and the single stack 45. Get the positioning right and they do real well.

When I get to the micro gun sizes like the lcp and similar, I find most hybrid styles are a too much holster for those types so I lean towards the single clip kydex or the Sticky pouch "clipless" holsters for those.

Remora is out of Naples Florida. I have the IWB for my 642 and it has been working great. When I purchased mine they had a special and you got a free magazine holder with your order. Delivered to my door it was $23.43.

Just got the Remora for my Shield, holster with reinforced top, free mag holder, free shipping, plus ordered 2 additional mag holders. After the 30% off, all came to $39.13. Arrived in USPS yesterday.
Material is very sticky. Should work well IWB.

The biggest problem I have with my Remora is ME. I have a hard time not thinking that it will fall out of my pants. But it just stays where ever I put it. This in the first IWB I have ever owned. I always would carry OWB. I'm really happy with it.

I never purchased one in tbe past because of the same reason. But after seeing all the positive posts and the great price I decided to give them a try!

How about some pictures of what it looks like as worn? Without pictures, it is just a rumor. :)

I have an old faithful ...which is similar to most of these hybrids, and for my 40c...its too much holster.
I like the simplicity of the little foxx I wear now.
I've tried the of from 3 to 6 o'clock....everywhere inbetween...just not comfortable.
Even with a nice thick 1.5" gunbelt. To each is own....

Same here. I've tried a hybrid holster with a double stack (G19) and the only time it was comfortable was with very baggy shorts. I picked up an inexpensive DeSantis SOF Tuck and it works great with my Shield. I didn't think it worked very well with my G19, but it's perfect for the Shield. As you said, to each their own...

Can we get a photo of this one please?

I use a SafariLand IWB and to be honest I haven't worn it outside yet. I've merely tried it in the house and it seems to fit very well.
