I highly recommend the Drago 36" Tactical Case. I checked around and found that this was the most useful and durable soft case that I could find for under $100. I purchased my 2-rifle (MOLLE-1005) through CheaperThanDirt for $70 + shipping. Of course they have many other brands similar to this case, but none beat the durability and pocket layout. There are many threads on this topic with pictures. I would too recommend Drago case referenced by Gonad. I have two one for a single and just purchased the double so I can take the 15-22 and AR to the range with one bag.

It does pay to look around. You can find some great cases but don't pounce on the first one you see. Shop around,you can find "same cases" for half the price that are just as well (if not better) made and also can have some better features.

Since it's usually my wife's 15-22 and mine traveling together, I got the double 36" Condor bag. I can either carry both 15-22s or one 15-22 and my Colt AR. Has lots of pockets and will hold several 25 rd. magazines (or lots the dreaded .223 30rd high capacity clips
). Generally I'm only going from home to wherever I'm shooting (normally my cousin's farm) so I'm really not worried about traveling incognito.

Same here. I live where people are more likely to want to see it over running away screaming "he's got a gun".
I know how stupid this may sound but, as far as incognito cases go, how cool would it be if someone manufactured a case like the one Antonio Banderas had in "Desperado". It was a guitar case with what looked like a real guitar inside, then the "guitar" popped up to reveal the goodies inside. That would keep the nosy folks clueless and possibly be a hit with enthusiasts.

I picked up this case from Midway right after Christmas, it was $19.99 on sale. Looks like it went up with everything else though.

Gentleman at my range uses a guitar case. I asked him one time why and he lives around the corner from the range and walks there on sunny days so this looks very discreet.
Neat idea.
