The Cleveland Cavaliers just won the NBA Championship!

This did not, could not, would not happen. Golden State was probably the best team in NBA history and the Cavs won.

They came back from a 3-1 deficit.

This is a Cleveland team. I'm waiting to wake up. The Terminator has to come in and blow up the arena so we can go back in time and the Cavs can lose.

I'm stuttering...

This game is one for the record books. I remember the Brown's win in 1964. My brothers and I listened to it on the radio. All the experts said the Colts would win. Then this year all the experts said Golden State would win. Both teams had one of the greatest players on their side. The Browns had the great Jim Brown and of course the Cavs have LeBron James. It feels good to be able to savor this win.

Not a Cavs fan and live in the Cleveland area, don't watch basketball. Finally the CURSE is gone, glad for the area, we needed a championship. Got tired of the phrase "wait till next year" with our sports teams.

Last nite after the game there was a lot of fireworks or guns going off. Took the dog out and could hear people cheering and car horns blasting as people headed home after the game. I live by a main route and the traffic was way busier then normal at 11 pm. I'm abt 10 miles south of Cleveland, the city is excited. Great to see finally. Larry

Well....... Cleveland is a party city today. All roads downtown are jammed with people going to see the parade. Streets are lined full with fans and the parade starts I believe at 9 am. There is an hour or two wait at most rapid transit stations in the area. Been 52 years since we had a title here. All the hotels are booked with people here to see and join the celebration. They are expecting 1 million people downtown today. Larry

Oops.... The parade is at 11 am, downtown is a mess, lots of businesses are closed for the day. Great day in C-town.

I got to watch the Cav's team plane fly in, land and taxi for about 20 minutes today on tv at lunch (with the volume off). It was almost as interesting as watching OJs Bronco "chase" or perhaps a snail race.

At 50 years old, all the previous championships are before my time. I'm not a huge sports fan, but my father was. I wish he was still alive to have seen this.

I'm still in disbelief. I tried to get the front page of the June 20 edition of the Plain Dealer, but couldn't get one. If anyone has one I'm willing to pay for one, but not the prices I see on ebay.

How many goals did they score?
Was a 9 iron used?
Will Lebron now take his "talents" elsewhere?

Woopty Dooo !!

Try contacting the Cleveland Plain Dealer direct. They're selling papers at the plant and you maybe able to order one. Try looking on their website.

I'm not a basketball fan at all. I worked in Cleveland a few years when Lebron was there the first time, and I saw him play. Company had tickets and I got them free.
Good to see "the mistake by the lake" get something positive.
