Anybody tried the CCI .22 long rifle AR Tactical ammo? Copper plated 40 grain solid point ammo at 1200 FPS designed specifically for use in AR style guns chambered in .22 long rifle.

You might want to see what they say about the " Tactical " .22 ammo over on the S&W 15-22 section as there has been plenty of input there on this ammo. IMHO this " tactical " is all just a bunch of hype but then I am not a big fan of " bulk " .22 ammo anyway.

Save your money and buy Fed bulk pack.
The consensus is that it's slightly more accurate than, say, federal bulk and slightly more expensive. It functions well in my 15-22, but the differences are not so great as to warrant using it exclusively. For me, anyway.

howdy- THIS is ammo that, for me, is worth keeping on hand. Shoots accurately through my 617, 10/22's and CZ 452 Varmint ( group easily covered by a dime shot at 50 yards ). Not carried at Wally World- Not a factor considering it's performance. FAR more reliable than cheap "bulk pack" ammo ( have yet to get a FTF after one thousand rounds in my guns )
