I've been holding off on posting this, because I wanted to give the seller an opportunity to make it right between us. But, it's been over two months now, and I've e-mailed and PM'ed the seller multiple times. He has not responded.

Here's the original ad...please note that the pic is no longer available for some reason, but I do have it in my Pictures.

http://smith-wessonforum.com/accessories-misc-sale-trade/384553-j-frame-grips-4-sets.html

"4 sets of nice J frame grips. $80 + $5 insured priority shipping."

The picture showed a side view of the grips....they all looked good in that view. Upon receipt and inspection, two grips, from two different pair, each had a missing chip on the top/inside of the grip frame. Of course, the chips are on the one pair that I bought the whole lot for.

OK, so maybe ccnv and I have a different definition of what "nice" means. I guess that's open to debate. However, he did not mention the missing wood in the ad and the one pic he posted wouldn't have shown these imperfections. A smart buyer might have asked for more pictures from different angles, but I'm the trusting type...especially around here.

My main reason for posting this is because ccnv has not replied for two months now to the e-mails and PMs that I've sent. Unless something has happened to him, I find this unacceptable. Luckily, I'm not out that much expense-wise.

Buyer beware....
