CCW renewal

Georgia had to change their renewal process to make BATF happy. I was ready for my renewal to take several months due to everything I have read.

It was issued in 24 hours of the application, and that include the fingerprint part.

Color me surprised.

I wonder why the BATFE would have any interest in a state's renewal process! There's no federal CCW, it is solely up to the states.

It was so the CCW could be used instead of the instant background check when buying a gun from a FFL.
