CED Millenium 2 problems

I was using the chrono under the shelter at the gun range with my Infrared screens, and continually got E0 errors. It worked for a string of 8, and then the errors returned. I think its a bad sensor. Was reading somewhere about a quick and dirty test using a flash light through the chrono. Havent tried it yet. Any other suggestions in testing the sensors?

They need daylight or sunshine, for most units.

Under a roof or with some indoor lighting, they will not work correctly, per makes of some units.

Good luck finding the problem. ( old batterys ? )

the infrared screens have worked well in the past in low light and artificial light conditions. Their purpose is just that. Any quick ways to check these sensors without shooting across their path?
