Does anyone know anything about this gun? My son called today to see if I would be interested in buying one of these from someone he knows for $200. I'm just doing my homework before I give him an answer......Thanks

The Tokarev pistol is an excellent shooter, and the polish version is well regarded by Tok fans. Tok's are Browning derived, and quite flat and compact for being full sized service pistols.
7.62x25 is a high velocity, flat trajectory, high penetration round with low recoil. Surplus ammo is available by the spam can cheap.
I find my Romanian Tok is 100% reliable and accurate out to 100yds.
They make excellent low cost field pistols.

brillo,
Here's a couple pics of my Yugoslavian M57 Tokarev, along
with an I-frame snub for size reference. The size and weight of the
Tokarev mitigate recoil to "no-problem" status.

TACC1,
thanks for the pictures! Nice looking gun and that holster looks brand new. I love my M57, I'm glad I got it instead of the TTC I was thinking about buying. Are you happy with yours? Remind me again who you bought it from.
