Yup. I never believed in wearing cutting chaps until I saw a demonstration of them.

Now I wear them religiously.

I felt the pressure of the blade on my thigh and it did nothing to me.

I have a pair. My daughter has a pair. I bought them for her. She is 36. If my dear departed father knew that I let his 36-year-old granddaughter use a chainsaw he would kick me, hard.

A guy I worked with (an engineer!! ) thought it was acceptable to cut with the tip of the bar,,,

Well, on Monday,, he walked into work with over 100 stitches on his upper left arm.

He thought he could hold that saw down!!

The chaps would not have helped him,, but, that day,
he went and purchased a new saw with a guard that made it impossible to cut with the tip of the bar!!
