Changing 41 Ejector

Do you mean the extractor?
The ejector is built into the slide stop.

Field strip the gun and remove the grip panels. Remove the screw and tensioner from the manual safety tab. This screw and the tensioning plate for the manual safety hold the slide stop/ejector in place.

While holding down on the flat spring that provides tension on the top of the ejector, pull out the ejector assembly. The flat tension spring is staked to the ejector, so it will not escape.

Re-assemble in reverse order. Be sure to clean the frame cavity under the lever before re-assembly, and lubricate with some very light oil.

And, as always, minor fitting may be required. Many consider this the "Achilles heel" of the model 41 in terms of it's design, and it's contribution to the array of feeding issues owners often experience.
