He really didn't say a whole lot that most shooters don't already know. I have heard the toilet paper example before, and that is most likely what has happened. The election of a known anti-gun president in conjunction with a liberal dem congress made everyone go a little crazy with the buying spree.
I predict that this will pass pretty soon. Ammo manufacturers will catch up to demand, and once people see the shelves in the stores restocked, the panic buying wave will recede.
