Yup. It really was $225. That was in July of 1997. Even then the Blue Book value was in the area of $1600. Best gun deal I ever did in my life!

My small local pawn shop gives me the creeps. It fits the old shady pawn shop type of place. It is small, crowded with stuff, not a high end place at all. Prices are high so you will have to haggle. The place gives me the feel of "no questions asked" and the feel of stolen items. I say this because they have cheap ghetto looking items that are over priced.....older electronics, and the building has an old rundown feel to it. I have been in there twice just looking around and no one ever said hi to me or welcomed me.
Purchased at local (Montgomery,AL) ghetto pawn shop used G2 Glock 21 no papers or box with holster and 50 rounds of ammo for $318 last spring. Not a great deal but it seemed fair enough to me.
Passed on compact Glock 9 w/box for $300, wish I'd snapped it up too now.
