Hello to all,

I am fairly new to the forum but have noticed the wealth of knowledge available here! :) I am appealing to you now, I am looking for a chest holster for my handgun to wear when hunting, I have not found one that i like. I want to be able to wear it on the outside of my coveralls which have no belt loops otherwise I would wear my hip holster, Does anyone have any opinions as to which are the best? I have done some looking online but havent found anything that is well suited for my needs. I dont need or want anything that will carry radios or 10 magazines at a time, nor do i need a fancy leather embroidered cowyboy style shoulder rig. I just want one to slide my gun in and maybe an extra mag. I know you guys and gals are holster savy so...... Help?!?!?!?!

Thanks for all the replies They are all very nice and are close to what I am looking for, however I dont really want a leather one, I am looking for a more generic nylon "fits most large frame" type holster. I will be bringing my taurus pt 101 with me and most leather holsters dont work because of the tactical rail on the dang thing. I am thinking of making a sling that my uncle mikes holster can attach to if I cant find what I am looking for.

I think i found exactly what I was looking for, only thing is..... it says that it is a taser holster?!?!?! can anyone tell me why this would not work????

BLACKHAWK! Taser Universal Harness/Holster - BLACKHAWK!

Can't say it won't for sure, but my experience with bandolier holsters for hunting revolvers says you need a holster that actually fits the gun. Otherwise, if you leave the cover unsnapped while walking in woods and field, the gun is going on the ground.

It looks as though it has a strap with a clasp to hold the gun in. I will be carrying my semi-auto not a revolver but either way i dont want it falling to the ground. I beleive with the strap system that comes with it i should be able to find a position to where it wont dangle much if i bend over.
