Chiappa 1911-22?

Was not impressed when they started coming in the LGS where I worked. The finish is basically paint.

Well..you see..I've never heard anything real good about them either.

However a pal of mine has/had one..and I've shot it a month or so back and it shot great!

I just bought his off him because he wanted a Ruger...and didn't like the safety lock staring at him on the slide. This one is probably two or three months old. Seems to work well with CCI and Winchester .22 ammo anyhow. I asked him about reliability..and he said it was fine there...worked well when I shot it previously. However..aside from the online gun reviews..the owner reviews are horrible!...nothing but jams and grief!

It is sort-of cheesy looking...but at least for me..it's a fantastic shooting hunk-O-zinc! From a rest..it stacks the bullets into the target like a match-grade pistol.

I was curious about the ultimate longevity of the thing...nobody here long-term satisfied owners?

i have one also it works just fine but it does not like rem ammo.it shoots fed and winchester with no problems.

Get the GSG and don't look back. JMHO.
The GSG can use about anything made for a 1911. GSG makes Sigs 1911/22.
Probably the best gun buy I made last year. Have put ~ 5000 rounds though it. Mags are high but very well made.
