Chicken In A Can

I grew up in the 50's, in a family of 7 kids, we lived on the garden and deer meat. We never had a freezer so Mom always canned or corned the meat. It was good with noodles or stews or what ever. I ate so much as a kid that have a hard time opening a can or jar of meat. But it kept us fed.

Like Labworm I ate can chicken, canned ham, canned beef, pigs feet and canned tamales while in Vietnam. Our food came out of the commissary in Saigon. Still got the canned stuff in care packages from home. potted meat, vennia sausages corn beef, tuna. hot sauce. worstershire sauce, Kool Aide gun and candy and my favorite Cookie dust.
