Good to know. I use them to pack the pipes on my bike every few years.
ROFL! Probably the last thing on a crack smoker's mind!!!Back in the day when I smoked a pipeeverybody said not to smoke out of a copper bowl because it gave off harmful fumes when exposed to flame.
Seems like that would be a problem with using Chore Boy pads as a "screen" for smoking crack.
But then people who smoke crack probably aren't expecting to live long enough for it to matter.....
Yeah, probably - assuming they have enough mind lift to have anything on it.ROFL! Probably the last thing on a crack smoker's mind!!!

Since when is it illegal to buy Chore Boy pads? Are they even being CONSIDERED for regulation? I got angry one time going in to a Walgreen's for some insulin needles and they said that they only sold needles to their insulin customers. I'm a grey headed old coot and it really got on me that theywouldn't sell me something legal, because of a policy that says anybody that buys insulin needles MIGHT be a drug abuser. Still makes me mad just thinking about it.
FWIW I found a new and very legal use foe the Chor boy a few years ago. I had a 35 + years old Lawn Boy 2 stroke 18'' lawn mower. It still ran good after all those years and no sense upgrading to one of the new machines with all the nanny devices on them.
I needed a air filter and no one had any in stock for that old timer, one shop said it could order me one and it would be about $30 and a couple weeks.--
I saw a few green Chor boys on the wifes sink and a idea hit me. I grabbed a new one cut it in 1/2 used both pieces and if filled the filter housing perfectly. Cost to me 0 and about 2 minuets of labor, cost to wife a few cents. Mower ran the best it ever did with that Mickey Mouse set up!Used that for the next 4 years or so and hit a big rock and totaled the motor by bending the shaft.
Are you sure you don't mean Scotch Brite instead of Chore Boy?
I got the same thing from a Walgreens in FL buying Clariton-D. The system refused my sale because I had bought too much in the last 30 days. I knew it was wrong (I take one pill a day, and I don't use it to make meth), but the attitude of the clerk went from smiles to eying me like I was a piece of dung.
I mailed the state AG (Pam Bondi) to find out why the system prevented me from buying something that allows me to breath at night and was told they outsourced that function to a company in Texas, which never responded to my question. As with most things these days, there is no accountability if you are a corporation or rich, but if you are the little guy you have to account for your every action and woe be to you if the system says you did something wrong even if you didn't.
Federal law as I understand it.

Love those old Lawnboys, still have two of them, Too bad about the rock, when I was mech at the fire dept we had lots of bent shafts, seems every station had a pipe sticking up out of the grass somewhereWe would take the mowers back to the shop replace the magneto key and could usually straighten the shaft by removing the blade and putting a long pipe over the shaft and applying a judicious amount of force, by the time we got it repaired though there had been a shift change (24 on 48 off) and the next shift would have to finish the mowing,
