Here's my CHP4006TSW that's been converted to 9mm using a Brinks 5946TSW slide assembly and a 5906 decocker assembly .
I ran 250 rounds through this setup today with no issues to report. No weird ejection patterns, nothing other than flawless function. The slide to frame fit is tighter than the original CHP slide . Poa /poi is dead straight. Recoils like a . 380
I was originally using the CHP slide with a 5906TSW barrel installed. I fired 900 rounds of various ammunition ranging from rangers to cheap remans but would get a failure to extract every 300 rounds or so . I expect 100% reliability with the current setup and it will be put through it's paces with me. I'm very happy to have assembled my dream variant.
I fired 50 rounds with the CHP slide and 5906TSW barrel installed in the brinks 5946TSW frame and had no issues either .

What base plates are you using on your mags?

Some of them are C-P Bullets, (also marked Classic Pistol,) and probably the ones you asked about. There’s been several conversations about them here and maybe a current re-pop source.

They were standard for examples with magazine funnels.

Yep that’s great, thanks for posting about it.

Gotta love convertribles, (:D) and now we also know where all the C-P, (Classic Pistol,) magazine base/buttplates are.

Jim
They are for my TC but of course make all gen three look better.

I had my 4006TSW CHP out today to clean it and admire it. These are really cool guns and I’m glad I scooped one up before the prices went nuts on them. I got this one for $399 off of the big site in 2017. The same seller is now selling them for $999 in worse condition. Crazy how sudden scarcity drives the prices up.

I remember reading that the CHP paid around $700 per gun for the integral rail TSW’s and that was likely at a substantial discount with credit for the old guns they traded in as well.

I like 40 and always have, so it works fine for me as is.

I bought one of the blue grip 4006TSW swat test guns as well and it will not cycle more than 4-5 rounds with the 5906TSW barrel without a failure to extract. My brinks 4046TSW with a 5906TSW barrel installed functions though. I have shot another 200 rounds through the CHP 9mm conversion since this original post and again zero issues . I have no problem with . 40S&W but I simply wanted to make my own integral rail 9mm with all the right parts mix.
