Hopefully we have a couple new reloaders on the forum after Santa made his stops last night. He dropped me off an assortment of cleaning patches, and some new ammo boxes.

He left me a caliber conversion for my SDB so I don't have to dink around adjusting dies from 38 to 357 anymore.

After all these years..............

25 dollar cabelas card. I can't go in there without dropping 2 bills so it's likely I'll just spend more:P. It's really more like a permission slip than a gift card ha ha.

9 1/2 years ago I started my own business so I built a steel building 50' x 24'. After 2 years my wife realized that it wasn't going to fail, so she quite her job and became a full time gardener, taking about 10' x 12' of one end of my building for her "stuff". That left me an 8' x 10' area for reloading.

In September she told me she wanted her own building and move her "stuff" out. I thought GREAT. She said she wanted it to be added to the end of my building. And she wanted to have her own bathroom. I tried to talk her into putting it next to her green house, but she insisted it be added to the end of my shop. After 41 years I have learned that some fights are not worth it.

So the last week in Sep. I dug the footings, laid the sewer, water , gas and electric line and poured the slab. I also bought all the building materials for her new shop. And of course it is all stored in my shop.

Now fast forward to Christmas morning. Everyone drags me out to the shop to show me my gift. On top of the building materials there sits A furnace a/c unit, shower stall, a stool, a large mop sink and a "URINAL".

That is when the "OLD BAT" yelled Merry Christmas. All of this is for your new loading room.

Santa let me down.

Well...Santa brought my wife a new laptop instead of bringing me 550b. :( What she doesn't know is I cashed in a small life insurance policy my mom took out on me when I was a toddler. Checks in the mail. :p:D

All I can say to that is...WOW :D

Unwrapped 1,000 yards of Trilene XL 8 LB and 660 yards of Maxima 8 LB with the first wave of family.........

The second half of the family are filtering in now at 3pm and
they are into hunting instead of fishing so I have my fingers crossed. After a few drinks and a Ham dinner, the gifts will be opened and I snuck a few present lifts and shaking and things might be working out.
Later.

I didn't get any reloading goodies. All I got was some pistol..:D

I didn't get any relaoding stuff either. In truth I really don't I really need anything for the bench the moment. But I did score a DAA Pro competition belt and a Ghost speed holster, which is actually just exactly what I wanted. :)

I didn't get anything for unloading or any guns, but I got a Rockwell JawHorse that I'm going to put in my reloading room - mainly for use as a gunsmithing bench. So I guess that kinda counts...

Well, no gifts per se... but my MIL gave me cash. So my son and I are heading into Indianapolis today.

The other day I found myself Completely out of primers. I hit Cabella's. Now, I never heard of Lellier & Bellot primers. Not only are these just fine (tried 100 rounds of .40 S&W loadings with them) I liked the price, too.

So today, we'll hit Cabella's again, with my Christmas cash, and I hope to score on a few more sale-priced boxes of these. $19.99 a box is a deal.

I found a M92 Winchester/Miroku Short Rifle in .45 Colt under the tree and a ammo box full of 7.62x51 for my M1a. :D :D :D

I purchased myself a Christmas gift last week. I bought a RCBS bench mounted priming tool. I don't know why I waited so long to get one. What a fantastic machine and makes priming so much easier.
I had been using the Rock Chucker mounted priming device before and although it works just fine, I find it finicky and occasionally get an upside down primer. The bench tool makes life so much easier not fiddling with changing the different size primer cups and it's less labour intensive, just place a piece of brass and push the handle. :)

Found an AR under the tree. Had to explain to Wife that I had to buy adaptor for scope mount, ammunition, dies, powder, bullets, primers and mags. She hadn't thought of that. (Thank God)

Well in my older age, I am getting lazy. Told Santa to bring me a few Lee auto-disk powder measures and one of the new
Auto-Drum powder thrower. I will not have to keep moving the one I have every time I change turrets for a caliber swap. :D

I don't keep moving powder measures either. I have (at least) 8 Lyman 55s. I didn't buy too much in reloading but did get a really good deal on a scope and 7.62 x 51 ammo at Cabela's..about 10 bucks a box after discounts. Really cheep for Federal white box. Bought 15 boxes. Tomorrow for reloading supplies! Have an estate to go visit. Lady said about 80 lbs of powder is there. We'll see. Like I need more powder but her son said there is a new RCBS progressive press still in an unopened box.

Sort of an even trade off...........
I got the grand son 2 boxes of 40 and 2 boxes of 9mm ammo .....

I received Winchester 55gr .224 fmjbt M193 bullets along with some Winchester 147gr fmjbt M80 bullets as well as some Winchester 110 jhp bullets for the little J frame snub nose .........
all will be used to kill a lot of paper in the days to come when the temps get back into the 50's and all the snow is gone.

Also received two gift cards to Cabela's. :D

I just wasted my "reloading money" on fish poles and reels that were sale priced at Gander Mountain and Cabela's. It is not all lost, me and Mrs Engineer are going on a Canadian fishing trip in August 2016.
