Christmas near-miracle! - .32-20 brass!

It's that time of year when arrival home often means packages on the front porch from various sources.

But one was a real puzzler - a 6"x6" box from Dillon - and it rattled!
Being great in years and lessening in memory, did not recall ordering anything from Dillon in quite some time.

Opening, what do my wondering eyes lay upon, but 100 pcs. of brand new Starline .32-20 brass!
A study of the receipt showed I ordered it back in May of this year. Finally did recall searching about everywhere I could think of to locate any, and most places would not accept a backorder - but Dillon would.

Don't plan on shooting my M&P 5" .32-20 all that much and this will put my total stock of brass at around ~200 pieces, so I'm good to go.

For those out there looking, perhaps Starline recently cranked some out - I have not looked further.

I would step out on the proverbial limb and say that if Dillon had them then most likely there was a run made by Starline!
I went & checked AND if they made a run - they're GONE now!

I got TWO notifications today that they were in stock at Midway, but no joy when I went to their website. I was there really quickly, so I doubt I got beat. Maybe a false alarm. Did anybody score some from Midway today?

I got the same notification. I logged in to Midway's site and could not add any 32 WCF brass to my cart. As it turns out they had no stock.

Yep - I also got the Midway 'alerts' and upon checking - .....I think a page popped up saying "WHAT are you thinking old man? You're too slow and it's all GONE!.......and "NO backorders......Bah! Humbug!!!!"

My friend recently bought a big box of assorted brass at an auction for $11. He got it home and found 200 pieces of new, unfired 45 acp rimmed brass.
I don't want to tell you what he sold them for, because I think it is about half what he could have got. Still, he recouped his purchase cost exponentially.

I heard they are filling their back orders. I went to sight and there was button for back order.

Thanks for the heads up here. I was able to get into Midway and order two bags of the 32-20 on 12/22. I received them and they are the quality starline expected.

Starline's web site shows Out of Stock - No Backorder at this time but does have the option to "Notify Me".

Hopefully another run will be in the offing in the not too distant future.

Just bought a Ruger NO1 in 32-20 (rebarreled) and have about 50 loaded up from couple years ago. Gonna eventually need more, is the brass showing up anywhere. Probably won't get the gun for 10 days, Larry

Actually got notification that my Optics Planet order for .32-20 brass is on the way. IIRC, I ordered it last April.

I'm sitting on a lot of 32-20 brass. Mixed head stamps. I could sit down and sort some if there's any interest. I even have some new Starline. It's not a caliber I shoot much anymore.
