your probably right.
anyone who has a view of the problem would understand he gunned down the ones that needed to be liberated rather than eradicated. Very little rationality in his selection process if a target is to be selected at all.
anywho ... I have a few good wheezin geezer calibers to fall back on after all the auto pistol and battle rifle rounds leave the shelves ... again.
Hope yall made similar observations and made similar preparations .... this whole scrub the range trip due to lack of ammo thing is getting old.

If you read the comments of the uncle(Mom's brother) online it's clear he was troubled and cause one to think that the father of the kid sure wasn't talking to the uncle. The uncle has had concerns about the kid for some time and had reached out to him.
As for the snarky comments above about certain drugs as related to killings by mental cases- I am sorry to tell you that there are many very good folks in our society that need and depend on what is being held up as the fault? Get real! I don't need or use the stuff referred to but some people do-and they get it legal and need it.
Much can be said here about drugs and their abuse. I'll not bother here more but don't think for a minute that there aren't lots of gun owners that are law abiding good people and they use certain drugs to stay mentally OK and function in their lives. I'll also go on a limb and say many here have family that are in that boat. As a long time counselor these are things I know about (my wife was a mental health counselor for many years too), don't confuse the issues, please!
As for religion avoidance on this forum-fat chance huh? I'm not offended from these posts but some are, yet if there's a rule that gets broken here and often, religion is the one. Prayers mentioned are one thing, getting into religious technicalities is a bit much, me thinks? No need to kill the thread just keep it OK.
This kid showed problems from the brief things we've been provided and yet he got a gun for his BD.
One look at the posted pic he had online in his apartheid jacket was a telling thing? Look at the kids eyes and tell me he needs a gun. I wouldn't give a BB gun to someone looked like that.
I suggest there will be other tell tale signs from his recent past that were either ignored or tried and failed.
The uncle trying to reach out should have been a signal!
Likely he would have done something crazy even if the Dad hadn't given him the .45, just a bomb ticking there.
My prayers for the families that are suffering to understand.

Here is a article on the drugs prescribed by Doctors which have ended in tragic ending. It was not the guns fault but the person who gave these monsters the drugs.

This is a horrible act of murdering innocent folks and I'm trying not to get into the mind of of the killer or other gun control, religious agenda's.

It will only anger me.
If there are any facts, recent history dictates that they will be buried under a pile of agenda oriented spin.
still waiting for the facts from all the prior incidents spanning the past 15 years ... just not holding my breath.

In a perfect world, a fair and speedy trial, then a date with a tall tree and a short rope in the center of Charleston..but with lawyers,shrinks and all the physco babel, it will never happen. By the time they spin it he will be an Eagle Scout, potential Rhodes scholar, working to solve world hunger....

There will be people inside who will leap to his protection since they share his ideology.
The way to "rehabilitate" him is with a 200gr. XTP between the eyes. That's 100% guaranteed to cure his lack of impulse control.
