Citizenship Quiz

Ha, ha! An embarrassing 22 out of 25 correct! And I'm not even a citizen. I don't even live in the U.S. . Take that, O'Reilly! I'd invite you (O'Reilly) down for an Ice Cream but the local Club wants you to send Miss Megan instead.

I got wrong:

#8: The how many Senators? question.

#11: If the President and V.P. are out to lunch, who's in charge? question.

#17: How old do you have to be to vote? question. (When I canoed down the Missouri River in 1977, you had to be 21 to drink in North Dakota -- not that it stopped us but I was only 19 and the guy-in-back was 20 so the age thing came up from time-to-time when trying to buy six-packs. So I figured maybe it's 21?)

I am proud of myself. Take that, O'Reilly!

(It says the Quiz Average is 19.75 correct. So. I'm above that! American friends living in San Miguel, watch out! I'm sending you the quiz!)

Nailed it! I got all 25. I've taken a similar quiz before, and that one seemed more difficult. I think on the other one I took, there was also a question about how many amendments to the constitution...but all of the choices were very close, such as how many amendments, 24, 26, 27, or 29? I can never remember the precise amount, but I know it's in the 20's.

The actual citizenship quiz is not that hard (wife took it) especially the English reading comprehension.

Wifey just took it and got 20 right. When we went over her mistakes she realized she knew at least three of the ones she missed.

Congrats calmex, thats impressive for a non-citizen and would probably beat 95% of the scores of any citizen under 40 years old. I totally agree about Megan!

25 of 25 here. All credit to an educational system that valued civics and reflected pride in citizenship.

I was born and raised here and even graduated high school, didn't do well with biology class though?
I passed 25 / 25
Must of paid attention someplace? ;)

25 for 25. I usually flub test like this but I thought most of the questions were easy, only two I had to think about.

I wouldn't have passed that well after High School but in recent years my priorities have changed.

I'm surprised at that and kinda proud.

Some of the Q's made me think, It seems like they could use a refresher course up there in DC.
