That's awesome news Jeff. I'm facing the same fate shortly. I had my fourth prostate biopsy about a week and a half ago at Vanderbilt in Nashville. I had just been in surveillance for the last 5 or so years. But this time my "spot" was a tad larger and angrier. I'm kinda tired of the biopsies so after a healthy discussion with my urologist I've decided to go ahead and get that tater outta there!! After me grilling him with every question I could think of I feel I'm making the right decision. I'm one of those that, as we say in the south, is skeerd of most medical procedures. For two of my biopsies I was "out" but for the other two I was awake and alert while the doc stabbed my prostate a dozen times. Anyway, my surgery will be robotic which made my wife (a nurse) very happy. I worry about things like the catheter being taken out 10 days after. I just need to man up! I'll be fine. I'm very happy for you and your results. I'm scheduled for 5/27. Pls keep me in your prayers if you would.

Thx, Roger

Congratulations! Been there with another type. It’s definitely not easy. Your mind flips and treatments are tough. Mental strength I believe really helps. Mine was two choices. Push through it or crawl under a blanket on a couch. I decided I’m not gonna lose this fight. Been two years now. Yes lots of scans and test still, but all ok so far.
