I've only been a member here

for a week?--I must say my guns are as clean as ever!!. Every time I log on,I clean and inspect a gun--once again TY for the nudge/inspiration ,to keep ones firearm in tip top,firing shape!!

What can I say? I can clean mine, and I don't mind, but the Mr. seems to really enjoy it. He usually has it done before I ever even know it. Who am I to interfere with the pleasure he derives from cleaning our guns? I will make him dinner and let him be happy.

I believe that more guns are ruined by a cleaning rod than by shooting them. I also find I need to reseason a bbl every time I get one clean. I clean them when accuracy goes downhill rather than every time I shoot them. I will wipe them down, take fouling off the cylinder face and check the cylinder but I leave the bore as shot until accuracy falls off.
