My father in law has used CLP on all his AR's for years and never had a problem. I've used CLP on my M&P15-22 and haven't had a problem yet. It really works great. I've heard RemOil on the other hand, doesn't work so nicely.

Be careful what you "hear"; there's no factual basis not to use RemOil on polymer guns. Remember, all you are doing is lubing moving parts, not giving the firearm a bath.
