CNN factual reporting last night.

I guess they need to fill all of that blank air space, when they should be reporting actual news, with tidbits of information suitable for their viewership.

I think the last time I watched CNN was when the the twin towers were hit on 9-11. We were at a Harley Davidson shop in North Carolina and that's what was on the TV and the remote was missing.

Last week one of the web sites showed a picture of a CNN reporter standing in front of a world map. She was reporting on a story about some incident in Hong Kong. No big deal, right? Problem was they had an arrow pointing to Hong Kong, in CENTRAL AMERICA!

Don't diss Hong Kong, Brazil man. They've got a world-class soccer team.

Darn I warned folks about the Chicom's! they want to run the show...It is so bad they moved Hong Kong to South America to be closer to us....what next......Chinese Cars.....

I understand they have cars in production that are up to 12 rickshaw power, and can run for months on a 50 pound bag of rice.

Not to hijack the thread but we have a local station that likes to have reporters on scene. I always enjoy when they have one reporting "in downtown" and they're standing about 15 feet outside the front door to their studio.

I don't know if I could find Hong Kong on a map of the world any more but even I know it's not south of Brazil. Don't you just love it.

Last night on CNN, Erin Burnett actually asked an "analyst", "Why didn't the officer just shoot Michael Brown in the leg? Why did he have to kill him?" Unbelievable!

No, that's a valid question. I was wondering the same thing myself. Heck I've seen the Lone Ranger shoot guns and knives out of bad guys hands hundreds of times. And Roy Rogers, too. He never had to kill anybody.

Real journalism is dead except for a few die hard, true reporters in my humble opinion. I now try and get my news from online sources as they " seem ", to be more accurate, or at least report both sides in a more fair fashion. Heck, I could be wrong on that but it does seem slightly better reporting.

" Holy factual reporting Batman...!"

I will watch BBC News somewhat regularly. Our 'news' is mostly celebrity updates, and entertainment.

Hard to find a news source that doesn't have an agenda but if you keep looking the BS generally floats away and you can think your way to reasonably accurate conclusions. Drives me crazy when they bring on the "expert" to tell you what the guy said that you just listened to .

I do remember way back when...CNN was a good news network..Way back when.....All of a sudden they have become as bad as NBC..NBC is hard to beat when it comes to bad, darn if CNN is getting close, real close.......Amazing all the effort to obtain that level of whatever....mediocrity that is the word for CNN now days..I knew there was a word for them...
