Cold pizza. Yea or Nay?

Hmmmm...After re-reading some of the previous replies about when to eat pizza or what to put on the pizza to "ENHANCE" it's flavor, makes me wish I would have invested in some Papa John's stock, or Tums, or Rolaids or any other ant-acid.:cool::D

You guys would have made me a Jillionair by now!!!!!!!

In my much younger days, we would put it on the dash of the van. The sun would warm the pizza up to quite a bit warmer than room temperature. Works on left over steak too.

Being a 100% full blooded Italian my mom on every friday night would make plenty of pizza to feed us four kids. The extra pizza went in the oven after it cooled down for the next mornings breakfast. Cold pizza in my house was the breakfast of champions from the old country. You have every food group in that pizza. You have fresh home made dough, tomatoes, cheese, garlic, pepperoni, anchovies, onions, peppers etc. Go for the gusto and crack a cold one to wash it down in the morning too.

Even warm leftovers up on the engine while your on vacation? Even fried chicken wrapped in foil tastes great.

I'm surprised no one has offered a fast food pizza that you could hold in one hand and eat while your driving. Even an egg and pepperoni combination. Eggs, pepperoni, cheese on a hardroll rocks. It's a sandwich from my home land of Naples, Italy. Cook the pepperoni first then drop the egg scrambled with cheese on it. Flip it, salt, pepper then assemble on a roll. Better make two.

Aha.....but they did.
Biggest Menu - Santa Anita Fashion Park - Arcadia, CA - Crispy Cone Pizza Cone

But it's worth noting that it was a flop and now not really offered anymore...

Nobody else remembers Jeno's Pizza Rolls?

Nowadays, there's Hot Pockets.

Jeno's still rock. I just wish I could figure out how to make them without all the filling shooting out of them. Have you tried the new jalapeno & cream cheese filled ones? Yummers!
