Colt CZ offers to buy Vista Outdoors…

Several weeks ago it was announced that Vista Outdoors was to be purchased by a Czech group. Now Colt CZ has made an unsolicited offer to purchase Vista. There's no telling how this will shake out but if Colt CZ makes the deal Vista will be owned by gun people.

How long before "Colt Ammunition" by Federal becomes a reality?

I'll need to do some research about what is happening here. The original deal was that the Czech company CSG would buy only the ammunition-related portions of Vista, with Vista remaining as a separate company retaining the many non-ammunition product lines. So I have to assume that Colt-CZ is seeking a takeover of what remains of Vista, not including ammunition, lacking better details.

Doing some research, it seems that the Colt-CZ offer is for the entirety of Vista, including the ammunition-related businesses. Which means that the CSG offer may vanish. Vista has made no comments.

There already is Colt branded ammunition available. It's made and sold by Double Tap which is outstanding quality. The problem is availability...they always seems to be running at full capacity and not able to keep up with demand.

I have some 5.56 Colt branded match ammo (77 grain I believe) made for them by Black Hills but I don't think Black Hills is making it anymore for them. That was before the pandemic rush so maybe it might come back.
