I might have posted these previously, but I finally found some original grips and took fresh pictures

1973 .22 lr

I bought it in 2014 on a whim, there was an online ad and the seller lived one mile away. It’s a great plinking and fun gun with a great trigger both in SA and DA. Paid $ 750.- for it. In hindsight I feel I overpaid a little as the condition is shooter grade with some honest wear. But they’re very hard to find here, so no regrets.

1975 . 38 spl

This one was bought at an LGS in 2018. I felt it would make for a nice pair, with a different caliber. Since it’s small and light it makes shooting .38 quite lively. It’s my first nickel gun and I think it looks fantastic. Strangely I also paid $ 750.- for it, and I think it was quite cheap.

Classic 12 you did very good on those. Here in the U.S. Diamondbacks easily sell for $1000+.
I really like the Colt D-frame guns. I have a pair of Diamondbacks. A 6" .22 and a 4" .38. I also have a 3rd Issue Detective Special that is my all time favorite snubby.
I'd like to add a 4" .22 Diamondback. That's if I can find one I can afford.

BTW: The grips on the 6" have been since changed out to the correct type. ;)

For $750, you did great on the nickel plated Diamondback and very good on the blued Diamondback. You can't even touch one around here for less than $1000.

We have a .38 Diamondback here, just a smooth shooting revolver and one of our favorites.

Another favorite .38 here from Colt.

One of the Better Half's favorite .38 revolvers. She actually prefers the balance of the Police Positive to the model 10 we have.

The handsomest .38 Special revolver ever made!!!!, also very strong, accurate, and also can handle any +P and +P+ .38 Special ammo easyly
Congratulations for owning this piece!!!...
Best Regards
