Colt Lawman MK III

This beautiful 2” Colt Lawman MK III (1975), . 357 Mag., I bought last September.

The scratches on the right side were polished off in the meantime by a gun dealer.

Nice Colt. Is that a case hardened hammer? I thought the Mark lll's used sintered metal?

I did too.
I have one just like it and had to pull it out to check it. Mine has a more black trigger and kinda greyish hammer similar to the one pictured but that hammer does appear case-hardened. Mine doesn't though.

That's a Detective Special on steroids! Very nice.

A pristine gun is nice, but one that has cosmetic issues is really even nicer, because it can be carried and handled with no worries.

After seeing yours, I'll be scheming to get one.
