Colt New Service 45 Colt

You need to post that on the Colt forum . I've been over since I got a couple of Colts lately . Some good guys over there , really helpful . It's so big though , you don't get the small town feel like you do here . If you do post it over there , I'm sure you'll start up some drooling .

It's posted there and they have offered some helpful info. Thanks

Those big boomers are a lot of fun to shoot.

These were Colt's largest frame revolvers up until the introduction of the Anaconda in the 1980s. Mine is a 1920s Commercial Model, also in 45 Colt.

Congratulations on your acquisition and thanks for sharing it.

That is a fantastic N.S. In the most desirable barrel length. I took a group shot of some grips to sell on Colt Forum including these original ones foe a N.S.Since they were actually not correct for my 1930 gun. And I just found these fleur-dis-li wood ones for it which are contemporary to the gun. If interested the black grips are $140 shipped to lower 48 states. Hope it’s OK to mention this here.
