It's always great to see Detective Specials. There are some really nice ones here on the S&W forum. Amazing to see all the variations possessed by Smith & Wesson fans.
Here's a Colt snub that's a bit different. All old bankers need a Bankers' Special. Chambered for .38 Colt New Police (.38 S&W) it is just the thing for banker types too wimpy to handle the more potent Detective Special. This one letters to Tufts-Lyon Arms Co. Los Angeles, California, early 1932.
I carry this 1966 Detective Special on occasion. It shoots +P 158 grain ammunition fine but I've only made limited use of such ammunition in it.
