I picked up a 5 screw Combat Masterpiece in 99% condition with matching magnas. OTD for $450 which seemed fair considering it condition.
Pics tonight...

Overall, very happy with this one, it's one of three Combat Masterpieces in my collection.. I'm almost there with all the Post War "Pre Models" :)

Fair for who? You definitely.....the seller maybe not so much. You got a great deal IMO.

Good deal,I've been looking for me one like that to complete my collection.Maybe one day I'll get lucky.

Exactly my thought when I read the post.

Not the best pic, didn't feel like setting it all up for one gun, but here it is...... slight turn ring. Other then that it really does not appear to have been fired much or at all.
Someday I'll put all the "PRE's" together for a family photo.

That's really nice!

The image matches the description, and I have to say that looks like the classic "feelgood" gun -- it "felt good" to someone to have it in the house, even if never got used or even taken to the range for practice.

That's a great looking Combat Masterpiece! I bet it shoots as good as it looks too. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Very nice, a good find to be sure! I have a 1950 vintage Combat Masterpiece that is one of my better shooters. Enjoy!

Great looking combat masterpiece. Without a doubt the best shooting 38 special I have ever used. The combat masterpieces in the early fifties I feel had the best actions. I know my does. The only Smith I own now that compares is my M66 4 inch. That's because the combat masterpiece is the father of the K frame magnum.

Enjoy your combat masterpiece,
Regards,
