When you find a handgun that fits your hand and style of shooting, The rest just comes together! Enjoy.

doc540,

That backstop mound NEEDS TO BE HIGHER.

Good observation.

Actually, on the action range the target stands need to be shorter, and we've brought this to the attention of the Club board.

I'm going to build a few shorter target stands for my personal use.

Colt originally made the Commander in 9mm. It was for the same
military trials that S&W made the M39 for.

Both the 9mm and the .45 are good guns, fun to shoot and handy.
The 9mm version has some advantages in some match shooting due to holding more ammo.

Please tell us more abt. your Commander, I kinda like it...

My "learner" 1911.

Ed Brown parts
Cerakote finish
VZ Operator II grips
Novak white dot sights
BarSto match barrel
Virgil Tripp Cobra mags

That's about it.

1911 in 9mm shoots like a cap pistol.
My favorite shooter.
