Does someone compite with this revolver ?
what about the results ?is it a good gun for competition?which pouches and speedloaders?

1. Yes. There were 8 686's at the IDPA Nationals, of which 3 were 686SSR.Also used were 10, 13, 19, 586, and 66.
2. Guns worked fine; score depended on shooter.
3. Yes, it is set up for IDPA/SSR, thus the name.
4. Majority use Safariland comp 3 speedloaders and Blade Tech pouches for IDPA. There is a constant search for better pouches.

If you want to compete in USPSA or IDPA/ESR, the Model 625 dominates with .45 ACP and moon clips.
 
thank you very much OKFC05,I know that 625 mooncliped in 45 acp is winning but i live in spain and this ammunition ist not so usual as in USA,for us is easier to find and cheaper 38 or 357, you are very lucky on the issue about guns.By the moment I compite IPSC in production with CZ but I like a lot revolvers and I would like in a near future compite with my 686SSR.
