concealed carry age minimum question?

Dear Smith and Wesson Forum i have a concealed carry age question. What is the minimum age that a person can get a concealed carry permit in the state of indiana? any and all help in answering this question would be greatly appreciated sincerely and respectfully mg357 a proud member of the Smith and Wesson Forum.

Go to Handgunlaw.us and click on the state of IN on the main page map. The Indiana Page will open. Read all about Indiana. Near the bottom of the page it tells you the min age for obtaining a CCW in Indiana.

I am not putting the age here for you as there is a lot of info there that you should read anyways. If you don't know the age to get a permit there you need to know other things about Indiana Laws on CCW. There are also links there to most of Indiana Official CCW websites that have even more information.

18. Went to college with a guy who had a permit there, but couldn't legally buy the gun to carry from a dealer.

They're all actual questions, someone might google it looking for the answer. People have to learn somewhere, somehow. Best way to do it is asking questions.

In some areas allowing carry without a permit, in theory there might be no min age so long as you were doing lawful things and had a note from your parent saying it was okay. G. Actually the question as posed is thought provoking.

There are Federal laws about how old one must be to purchase a handgun. There are state laws as to how old one must be to carry one. Then there are other laws that says how old one must be to get a concealed carry permit. Some areas within a state has laws forbiding the ownership of a handgun. I suupose a correct answer would be where you were standing at the time the question came up.

My question would be about the states like AZ and others where no permit is required. Can a 12 yr old carry legally since the law says no permit is required?
