Hey all,
I've searched a bunch of sites and am coming up with either conflicting or out of date info, and wanted to get some clarity prior to my trip later this month. I'm planning to drive from Texas to Minneapolis, MN later this month, but am confused about the chl laws and reciprocity in those states. I looked on the txdps site, and it states we have unilateral reciprocity and no agreement at all with Iowa and Minnesota respectively. ( http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/RSD/CHL/legal/reciprocity/index.htm# ) yet, when I look an other sites I see that we can carry in those states. One site even lists Texas as a reciprocal site for Minnesota, but doesn't show it on the map... ( http://www.handgunlaw.us/ ) . I say all this to ask if anyone has a better or recently updated resource I can use. Also if I am unable to concealed carry in these states, does anyone know about driving through these states with a pistol?? The states I could possible drive through are Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, and Minnesota. Minnesota is where I will be for the most time, so I really would like to carry there. Thanks in advance for your help.
