So a couple years ago when I was first getting back into revolvers I did something stupid. I had a 36 no dash and a 15-2. The stocks on the 15-2 were pachmayrs, and I was looking for some magnas. Well I found a very nice pair with diamonds. But they fit weird.

And I stupidly fit them to the gun. Later I lucked into a model 28 from a friend and realized the stocks I butchered were N-frame diamond magnas. This was about a year ago. I've been sick ever since.

And I post this here because I just picked up a pre-27 that is wearing late 60s non-diamond target grips.

So that's my confessional. Sigh.

You are in big trouble.

You better seek out a priest who has the credentials to hear a proper confession.

This hobby is very expensive. Now I'm going to need to find some proper magnas when I can stare at what would have been just right (if not about a decade newer than the pre-27) all the time.

Your going to need a old priest and a young priest.

You don't learn anything from being right all the time....or so I hear.

Me, I learn a lot. I started to type out some of my lessons learned....but I don't have that kinda time.

Either sell them off as is and forget about them, or use them till they are worn smooth.

Confession is good for the soul, you're forgiven.
