I recently bought a beautiful.270 with the Sweden stamped on barrel which I know means it was a Husquavarna built rifle. Also stamped on barrel is model B which tells me this should have an schnabel forend.
The issue is this has a beautiful full length Mannlicher stock which is pinned which to me indicates it was factory done but the model B really throws me for a loop
Has anyone ever seen before or think this was customized? The glare from lights look like scratches on stock but it is a clean - very nice stock

I don't know much about these, but thought that stock was the "D" model. Maybe someone put a D stock on a B?

I’m convinced it’s a D stock. Barrel is the correct length for D but somehow it got stamped B on barell

I've seen at least one of these before and it lettered as shipped to a US Military PX in Europe for sale to US troops for hunting, etc. there. They are usually in European metric calibers, but anything possible with S&W. Ed
