Considering Pre 25 "Customization"

Here is my reply without reading others.

I have a Jovino mod 25-2 . The chamber throats are .455 using a pin gauge.
I do not expect good accuracy from a 2,75" barrel with large chamber throats.
At least not at any kind of distance.
I think on your Model of 1955 if you cut the barrel you would be disappointed.
Labor is very expensive for quality work these days.

The Jovino model 25-2 and the 3" model 625-3 are both very
heavy when loaded and not a fun carry for any length of time.

Leave your 1955 Target alone and seek out a gun already modified
or built for this purpose.

Contact me and we will discuss values of the Jovino modified guns.
