I've been looking for one of these Lightning Grip for a while and I found a new one yesterday at really good price. I've been carrying it since yesterday on my belt holster and it feels good and no more snagging the shirt when drawing. The extra weight helps when rapid firing "heavy" loads. My wife thought it made the revolver ugly but cool looking. It makes the model-10 carry gun much more versatile. I like it!

Always did like those Lightning grips myself, and it does make for an interesting looking no-snag piece! Cool gun rug357! Dale

I believe I still have a pair of the Lightening Grips for a J Frame. Let me know if you have interest?

I don't see how that is better than a bobbed hammer DAO.

Sure you can push aside the rubber rib thing to cock the hammer for a SA shot, but in a self-defense scenario I doubt you will have time to do that.

Those grips are kinda collectible, some people collect the various oddball Bianchi and Safariland grips.

For the size and weight a spurless Ruger SP101 .357 is also an option.
