Cordless drill makes electric car jack!

I use my cordless drill for a nut runner when I change or rotate tires. Crack them loose then spin all of them off and back on with the drill before torquing.

Because of lack of jacking points on a unibody car I was using the jack that came with the car. It has a nut for the tire tool on the scissors jack and I used the drill to position the jack. Then I found that the drill was powerful enough to raise and lower the car! An easily portable automatic jack.

My dad uses one to raise his pop-up trailer. I would not have thought they were powerful enough, but they are.

I use a Craftman 19.2V mini impact wrench for this stuff. Works great. I have bit adapters for 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2.

been using my 9.6 volt makita for years for this. even went as far as welding a nut to jack rod to make it easy(er).
