Thanks for all the info guys I love this forum. I think I know what to offer and how to help the gentleman who is selling the gun understand that I am not insulting him with my offer. Like I stated in my earlier post, the gentleman is older and not really knowledgeable about the gun. I think he has looked at some on-line posts/prices with his son and believes the gun should command a premium. As we all know, the devil is in the details when it comes to firearms. Box, papers, factory correct, rarity and condition are what drive value. I hope it works out.
