This was among the things my Wife inherited when her Mother passed away many yrs. ago. It was in a box of things she had kept when her brother Bennie died. The rock is dated Jan. 1, 1917 in the center, Phillipine/s on top, Corregidor on the bottom, & 4 1/4 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide. I have always wondered about it as it is dated 2 months after he was born [Nov. 04, 1916. He served in the Navy in WW2 as a Bosun and had a lot of currency from all over the world, mostly SE Asia & Philippines.
