Credit Card Services

If I see a number on the phone I don't recognize, I either answer it, ask them to hold, and lay the phone down and go on about my busniess, or I give it to my 8 year old son. He is very creative and has a good time with these people.

I have a lot of fun with those idiots , If you can catch yourself before you get pissed for them interrupting dinner you can have big fun just keep talking don't answer questions just start talking about the weather or how your day went ask if they been catching any fish sometimes you get one that will talk most times they will hang up. My wife always thinks I'm talking to one of my buds she always ask who was that and then cracks up when she finds out it was a solicitor . Waste their time like they waste ours .

I had such fun with one of them a couple weeks ago. Had a story about how much money I owed and I really really needed there services but I did not understand. (In reality, I don't hardly use and never pay any interest). Kept the guy on the line for about 20 minutes, just lots of bs. He finally got so mad he actually told me to kiss my (&&%^. I got off the phone laughing my head off. Haven't had any repeat calls, but I'm sure I will. If you have some time to waste, try it. Great fun!!

Wow! I thought these people already stopped! It looks like they're still making the rounds.

I got a call like that from 510-699-9231. Is that the same phone number? Because I heard a similar script. This girl Amy told me she could help lower down my credit card interest rates and she never stopped calling even after I told her I'm not interested and that she could take me off her call list. I had to call my telephone company ad got her phone number blocked so I don't receive calls from her again.

by the way, i reported the Amy's phone number at Report Phone Number to CallerCenter.com, too, and I was surprised to see a lot of people already reported the caller already. Look up the phone number at the site and go through the complaints associated with the phone number to see what I mean.

When they ask me to lower my credit card rate, I make one of two approaches. One approach is I act dumb and ask for a higher rate. That normally floors them and I have to go negotiating with them for a good 28% interest rate. I tell them I have a 25% rate right now and won't settle for anything less than 28. Normally they hang up.

The other is simply say, excuse me, I will be right back and set the phone down and don't hang up. Maybe in an hour or two I will hang it back up. That seems to drive them away also.

There's a lot of wild and creative solutions here but NONE of them work. A computer neither remembers or cares if you were nasty and rude during the last call. It'll still call you back when your number comes up on the list again.
The phone companies know who these numbers belong to and the politicians could have them shut down if they wanted. Somebody is in someone elses pocket.

I pressed one, and when she answered, I said "This call is being recorded for quality assurance purposes." She immediately hung up. Come to think of it, I haven't had a call from them in quite a while. Maybe that's the trick. And for those who's suggestion is to simply ignore any number you don't know, I can't. I get several calls a day from customers all over the country, and if I don't answer them, I don't work. ;)

Ask them what prison they are operating out of and what they are in for. Tell them when you were in the joint you had to have so many successful calls a week. Ask if they will co-sign a loan. Get a home number if it is a woman. Ask if it can be finished after your upcoming bankruptcy. Testify to them of your religious beliefs. Speak in a foreign accent and claim to not understand them. Turn on you electric razor and tell them there is a problem with their line. Try to sell them something.
