CS 45 with 3 mags value

The last one I saw with box was listed for $550.00, but it's still sitting. That said, I think that's a good price provided the gun is in good condition.

The CS guns are Value Line guns, so the machining and finish are not as nice as you'll see on a 4513TSW. Also, they use some plastic parts like the magazine release and probably the sights.

From what I've seen, the CS45 is a smaller 457, which isn't a bad thing at all.

Three magazines adds to the value as I think they are scarce these days. At least good ones are as several people have posted that they have bought new OEM magazines and had to return them.

I paid 500 for mine 10 years ago. It came with 1 mag and a non S&W plastic case.

Thanks Gary. I'll go take a look. He's down to $420 with gun snd 3 mags.
He wanted more for SD ammo 50 rounds , cheap holster and generic plastic case. I have a million of the cases and the holster is junk.
The ammo is probably worth an extra 25.
I have a 457. If this is a little smaller than a 457 it would be nice. I have holsters for it.

I sold my 4513TSW NO rail with box and 2 mags for $450 I believe.
I know the 457 is not worth much more than $350 to 375. So maybe this is a little high?
I used to have one years ago.
I'm looking for a small reliable 45CSW.
I could by a shield for about same price.
Thanks for the help.

Looks like that isn't a bad deal at all. Better deal than the one on my favorite online seller. Drop four $100 bills on the counter, tell him to keep the box and holster.

I am picking it up in 45 minutes. It's nice to live a a pro 2A state. Cash and carry. We both have CCLs/ CCW so its should be no problems.

It's an all black gun not a SS version. I have been considering taking 2 or 3 of my value series guns and having them cerakoted . I have a 910 and 457 that would look better. No collector value at all so it may not be a bad idea.

Very, very nice. I don't think that I've ever seen a picture of a black CS45. I know they made them, but I think they made far more stainless than black. Kind of the reverse of the 457.

Well bought, my friend, well bought indeed.

Well it's mine now!

This one has a metal front sight post instead of plastic like my 457. It is also a single side decocker. I thought they were sold as ambi. but maybe not. Will 4513TSW 6 round mags fit this? I believe they will. I had not seen a black one before either. The last one I had was a SS version.
I am needing different grips for sure. I hope to hear back from Tercgen.

Per Tercgen post new recoill springs on order.

Sweet, excellent find and buy.

I have it's "little brother", (CS9,) and like/appreciate it a lot. It probably doesn't matter to you but when I called S&W about my EKW CS they said it left in 1999. Mine didn't come with a box so I called.

I know I keep saying I'm gonna put the spurless hammers back in my CS's and I will. Eventually. :D

Congrats my friend! :) Sold your 4513TSW? What were you thinking? ;)

While it is not as nice as a 4513TSW, the CS45 is still a fine carry 45. Accurate and reliable as any 3rd gen. The TercGen grips are a must. They really improve the handling and concealability of the CS45. IMO, they should have come from the factory with those.

You can use 4513TSW mags, but I would only carry the CS45, for serious purpose, with the OEM CS45 mags. They have detents stamped in the top, near the feed lips, to keep the top round in the mag from moving forward under recoil.

While the CS45 is a value line gun, I find the fit and finish to be superior to my 457. And my CS45 is more accurate than any 457 I have shot. And I like the 457 too.

"buy a shield.." Really? Have you shot one? I'm with squidsix on that topic. ;) The CS45 is a much better made gun with a good trigger. Enjoy yours! Regards 18DAI

I have a CS9 a couple hundred serial numbers lower than yours. The box indicates mid-1998.
