Sent my new (to me) CS9 in for warranty service. I tracked it and saw that it arrived at S&W today.
Any ideas on current turnaround times for warranty service?
Just to tell you why I sent it in. The mag release wouldn't engage with a magazine in place. I had to push up on the magazine in order for it to release.
When I tried to figure out what the problem was, I took the grips off to find that the frame had been gouged by the bottom of the release piece. It didn't make much sense to me but since I am the newest owner of it, I don't mind taking the time to get it fixed right.
How would one fix a gouge in the frame?
