Mine would (will?) randomly lock up. Trigger would not move with the slide in battery, hammer fully cocked and the safety off. It went back to the factory twice. They couldn't duplicate this, test fired it and sent it back. What can I say it was random. Still, that makes it unreliable.
I could handle the poor, gritty trigger, but how much I spent on it, the random quirky malfunctioning and dealing with Smith customer service(?) equals frustration. To the point where I don't like it. I would never recommend it.
