I've ordered a set for my Model 49. I feel with just five rounds on tap, I want every advantage I can muster. CTC's really level the playing field, IMHO.

They're on mine and my wife's 642s. Great training tool also. It'll really show you how much you wobble while aiming and how your trigger pull moves your point of aim.
There's plenty of other discussions about the CT laser grips on various threads.
Welcome to the forum!

What model of CT sights did you get? Just bought CT LG-405 laser grips for my 642 for $216 at a good large-volume gun store. If you got the LG-405 grips for $166.65, you got a fantastic deal. I shopped hard online and locally and $216 was the best I could do. The LG105 and 305 grips are less. I liked the ease of installation and the default sighting out of the box so far. Will probably tweak the sighting of the laser to 30 ft vice 50ft next time at the range as more realistic.

I have CT grips on three of my handguns. If Crimson Trace made them for my wife's Colt 1908 Pocket Model and my J.C. Higgins .22 revolver, they would be wearing them too (I'm not holding my breath). The set on my 637 Airweight snubby (the visible hammer version of the 642) are the LG305 grips. Don't remember what I paid for them six years ago, but I recommend the LG405 grips to anyone with an Airweight. That little shock absorber high up on the back strap has to be useful. Before I shoot standard pressure 148gr DEWCs at the range, I install a Johnson & Johnson knuckle bandaid on the web of my hand. If I don't, I will create and pop a blister there within twenty rounds. Tried the gloves with the padding there, absolutely hate them.

Sorry, didn't mean to go off thread. It's just that, when I talk about Airweights, I automatically drift off into blisters.

Cordially, Jack

I am going to look into the LG405s for use on my AirLite 342Ti..
Looks Like $216 is the price to strive for..
There's a Dealer at the Local Gunshows who has several New In Stock & If He can match that price I'll buy from Him..
I carry that little J Frame with me Everywere
Why shouldn't it have the best Sighting System Devised SO FAR!!
Now I'll have to get another 36/60 to put my Secret Service Grips To Good Use!!
