Curling?????

Watching curling to me is about as exciting as watching soccer...
Depends upon which soccer you're watching. Kids played soccer, we had season tickets to MISL. Sometimes they interrupt the fights to kick a ball around. It taught me why some overseas soccer fans riot: to some refs, ag assault is just part of the game.

We have a local curling club that does well in most years, and is booked solid when the Winter Olympics comes around.

Well, I sure don't understand it, but I have to admit...in the 2 minute segment I saw on the news that guy's skills with a broom are pretty good.

Caught one of my cats sitting in front of TV and watching curling. She was enthralled/mesmerized by all the rapid/frantic broom movements.

I was on our high school curling team. My whole family curled, and my brother still lives next door to our local curling club. If you've never tried it, don't knock it.

I would prefer the Olympics stick to sports that involve speed, strength, or athletic ability. Scratch curling and maybe even bobsledding, but at least they have to run fast or a few yards.
