Custom Grips. Let's See Your Favorites

I am a big fan of John Culina who makes Kurac grips for Smith and Wessons. He also makes Colt I Frame Grips and 1911 grips as well.

I have Kuracs on 4 of my Revolvers.

My 28-2 wearing Royal Walnut

My 19-4 wearing Pink Eucalyptus

My 629-1 Wearing Cocobolo (these may be my favorite)

My 29-2 wearing roasted Birdseye maple

The 29-2 and the 19-4

The 29-2 and the 629-1

I also have a set of Keith Brown stocks on my 629 No Dash 4". The 4" pinned and recessed 629 was made for less than a year, so I decided to relegate it to backup gun status and I got a set of special stocks made for it.

They are RedHeart with Ebony Diamond insets and are in the same style as a set on Keith Browns Home Page on his web site.

Some pics with the 29-2 wearing Kuracs

I just want to add:

1. It is beginning to dawn on me how much I have spent on grips and guns the past few years. Enough that if my wife found out, I would be in very deep doo-doo.

2. John Culina, Jennifer Culina and Keith Brown are top notch people to work with. They create incredible hand made products and are terrific to their customers.

I know John and Keith are in competition with each other, but if they knew each other I would think they would have a strong friendship as they are two sides of the same coin.

The pic of my 29 wearing Kuracs next to the 629 wearing Keith Browns is a beauty you don't get to see often.

Just added these to my 617. Royal Walnut by Culina. [emoji41]
